If you live in Bandung, you must know Braga street very well, it's famous by its past lavishness, the old building, that's why there are lot of couples take their pre wed photos here (it's getting lame guys, find another spot will ya?). I personally love Braga street, and thankfully I'm working in Braga street. People always see Braga as the 'Red Area', because there are few bars, karaokes and hang out spot which very famous for its night live, if you know what I mean :). I think it's good, every city must have a night life area.
Braga can be more fascinating if only the government would do actions in reviving this beautiful street. I heard that they will close down the street for cars and allow padestrian to walk in this street, it's good, but will it work? I personally think that they should create an upscale shopping street, I mean boutiques (not stupid mall, with stupid store inside it). Imagine Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Diane Von Furstenberg in Braga, the boutiques should not change the shape of existing building, just paint it and give a little bright renovation in these buildings. Coffee shops along the street combined with local food stalls, I think it will be great!. Well that's what I think, what do you think we should do with Braga?
